Hi Andrew. Yes, they need to be mature and be in your EverGreenCoin wallet for more than 24 hours. They do need to be in your own wallet, not an exchange’s wallet. After they have been in your own wallet for over about 24 hours, they will start what is called ‘staking’. Staking is the process by which you earn your 7% annual interest. You do not need to stake all the time but, to be safe, stake at least a few hours every 30 days. Though staking more often will give you ‘quicker’ installments towards your 7% annual interest. Note that your EverGreenCoin software must be fully synced and unlocked to stake (collect interest). Let me know if you have a question. Happy to help! 🙂
