Every year EverGreenCion celebrates Earth Day. In 2017 and 2018 we celebrated by paying bounties for sharing pictures of planting events.

Some examples from past years planting events can be seen here from 2017 and 2018.
However; this is being replaced by Proof of Environment, to be monthly rather than only annually. But, no worries! We still celebrate Earth Day, but now by sponsoring various tree plants around our globe:

2019 Spring Plant NW PA aims to plant 1000 trees in North Western Pennsylvania on or around Earth Day.

More tree planting events are being arranged in other areas. Details of those will be announced here as soon as they are known to be certain, so please check back!

Help plant our future and be rewarded!

Starting April 1st and through May 31st, 2018 (now ended)

Submit pictures or videos of any planting event, and you will be rewarded $10 (USD) worth of EverGreenCoin from The EverGreenCoin Foundation, Inc. for helping our future environment. Some examples can be seen here from 2017.

RULES (subject to change without notification) :

1. 1. This is for any planting event. To not exclude those living in apartments or without use of outdoor land, indoor potting events and such are acceptable and will be rewarded.
   2. The EverGreenCoin logo must appear in the picture or video. The logo can not be digitally added. Whether printed, displayed on a cell phone, or an EGC t-shirt, the EverGreenCoin logo must be physically in the picture. This is to help prove authenticity and to help promote EverGreenCoin.
   3. Submission become the property of The EverGreenCoin Foundation, Inc. upon payment. By submitting you agree to allow the submitted material used in any way for promotion of EverGreenCoin.
   4. Your conversion rate is controlled by the time YOU submit.
      1. This removes the determination of the conversion rate from everyone but yourself or the person submitting on your behalf.
      2. This allows you to, if you wish, speculate on the conversion rate and submit at a time you feel will be favorable to you. But, please be advised, markets are very volatile. Price could change very quickly and not in your favor in regards to the numeric equivalent of EverGreenCoins you actually receive.
   5. Limit of one entry per person will be paid, regardless of the number plants planted or other factors. BUT read the next bullet-point...
   6. We reserve the right to issue bonuses beyond the $10 equivalent and / or future additional bonus payments after quality levels, number of submissions, community demand and response, or any other factors that may influence the total expenditure are better known. This is to more proportionately reward those who submit higher quality pictures and videos.
   7. Submissions can be made via any social media platform or by emailing EarthDay@EverGreenCoin.org
   8. We ask you submit your name, location, and what it is you are planting. No anonymous submissions will be rewarded because we will not have gained legal rights to use for promotion. Your name will not be disclosed in promotion but your location and what you planted may be. For example, "Apple tree in Ohio".
   9. We reserve the right to not pay any submission for any reason (lack of authenticity, lack of effort, suspected fraud attempt, etc.). Unpaid submissions will never be used because we will not have gained legal rights to use for promotion.
