Other Information: So sad to lose properties in houses due to collapsing of houses during raining time. Many refugees lost important documents after their houses collapse cause by floods. BIDII YETU trying to overcome this situations by raising awareness to the communities and associating school, even having speech on conservation of environment, moreover we end up to have trees nursery. The important of Planting Trees, is to prevent Flooding. 1.Flooding poses a serious risk but We can respond back to flooding by planting more trees its help to reduce flooding in a number of ways. #Rain hits the ground at higher speeds where there is a lack of trees. #Canopy of leaves branches and trunks slows down the rain before it hits the ground simply by getting in the ways we call this interception. #Root system help in holding soil and prevent soil erosion. In planting trees and hedges can be effective in increasing water infiltration and reducing and slowing run off on farmland. #Trees help us to act as windbreaker not only that but also rain a rester. WE NEED MORE TREES. The Kakuma refugee camp need more trees to prevent the cases above and to bring climate change because trees and green spaces play a central role in protecting us against flooding.
