Other Information: Juicing a “Black Nebula ” purple carrot i grew in my garden along with store bought orange carrots, apples and celery for a delicious and nutritious drink to have with my dinner. But it doesn’t stop there, I add the peelings and pulp to my kitchen scraps to later add to my worm composting towers or compost bin. Since it is processed, it will take less time to break down. And it feeds the worms.

Did not make biochar but the charcoal will still provide homes for bacteria that will pull nitrogen from the air and rain water, Nitrogen contributes to powerful greenhouse gasses and it is a great idea to provide a nitrogen sink and irrigate my flower gardens.

Other Information: This weekend, the local markets were closed due to another covid snap lockdown so I was unable to have a stall selling my range of plastic-free productsas usual. Instead of allowing allowing the situation to get me down I decided to walk to the local health food store instead of driving to get some plastic-free groceries and see how much rubbish I could collect along the way. I really made the most out of the trip, by deciding to walk I did not burn any fossil fuels, I got some exercise, cleaned up a bunch of rubbish from the roadside on the way and got my groceries without all of the plastic! It was a win/win/win/win scenario!

Title: Baked my own Zucchini Bread on 7/22/21

Other Information: I baked my own zucchini bread on 7/22/21 even though the date is 7/23 in the picture, I had a lot going on yesterday. I made 1 big loaf and 5 smaller loaves, as they cooled off I put 2 small ones in food saver bag in the freezer, and ate 1 yesterday and 1 today. I ALSO froze 8 cups of shredded zucchini for later applications. Though I really see it going to cook more bread lol
