Title: Repaired highly compact soil without petroleum or dust plumes
Location: McKinleyville, California, USA
Other Information: Exclusively used hand tools to repair highly compacted soil which did not support any plants for months to years, without using petroleum products or creating much dust at all. Added charcoal, wood chips, grass clippings (using scissors, not gasoline), and forest soil from fallen alders. Has not been completed extensively, only in a small area (like 20 square feet).
