Description
This crowdfund is for raising money to help the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. The camp has 60k occupants. Their conditions are very poor, as you can see here. Some are forced to eat while sitting on the dirt ground and with no eating utensils. These beautiful people still exhibit remarkable cheer, regardless of the living conditions.
They need education for their youth and employment. This first phase of relief offers assistance for both problems. We aim to employ refugee camp occupants at a furniture manufacturing facility within the camp to build desks to be used by other occupants in a newly-being-built learning center. The desks will double as seating for eating also when not used by students for studying.
We have verified all claims, needs, and our ability to deliver a solution with both the Kenya government and organizations here in the States. We can make a big difference with little money and 0% wasted on so-called ‘administrative’ fees and such. Ever penny raised is used directly and as intended under the administration, and watchful eyes, of The EverGreenCoin Foundation, Inc. and by its volunteers.
